Emma Barrow, a College Station native and recent honors graduate in Music Education at the University of North Texas, is elated to join to begin her career as the choral director at Harrison Intermediate.  Ms. Barrow is a passionate musician and educator, and she is thrilled to be part of the Wylie East cluster team at Harrison!  

 

Prior to joining the Harrison staff, she was a clinical teacher in Denton ISD at Frank Borman Elementary and Billy Ryan High School.  Additionally, she served as Section Leader at Arapaho United Methodist Church with Wylie ISD Smith Elementary Music Specialist Terri Knagg.  While at UNT, she was awarded numerous placements to the President's List and was a TMEA award and scholarship recipient.

Ms. Barrow strives to create an environment where each and every young singer is supported, giving them space to build their confidence and experience the wonderful connections that music can create.
