The Raider Area Choral Program is a unified 6–12 community of singers from Wylie East High School, Burnett & Parker Junior High, and Hampton & Harrison Intermediate, representing one of the largest and most vibrant choral programs in Texas. With over 1,100 students across 24 ensembles, our program is built on a simple belief: every student has a place, a voice, and the ability to grow.  From the first day a student joins us, they become part of something bigger than themselves. Across every campus, we are committed to creating a culture rooted in We Over Me, Music Is for All, Be Passionate, and Music Is for Happiness. These values shape not only how we perform, but how we support one another, build community, and develop confident, well-rounded students.

Our choirs are consistently recognized for their excellence, but what matters most is the experience behind the performance. Students collaborate, lead, and connect through music while also staying actively involved across campus - in athletics, fine arts, leadership organizations, and beyond. Whether a student is new to singing or highly experienced, there is a pathway for them to belong, contribute, and thrive.  As students progress through our feeder system, they are supported by a team of dedicated educators who share a common purpose: to create meaningful musical experiences and build a culture where every student belongs.

Across all campuses, our directors work together to ensure that students experience consistency, growth, and connection from beginning choir through high school and beyond.

Our team is deeply invested in both students and the profession. They are active clinicians, conductors, and presenters at the state and national level—but more importantly, they are mentors who care deeply about the people in front of them every day. Through their leadership, students are challenged, supported, and inspired to grow not only as musicians, but as confident and collaborative individuals.
