Mrs. Aimee Mallou, Private Vocal Instructor, Wylie East HS
Aimee Mallou, a Pennsylvania native, has taught choir and voice in her home state, as well as Saudi Arabia, China, and Texas. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Theory and Composition from Westminster Choir College, as well as Post Baccalaureate Certification in Music Education from West Chester University, and is completing her Master of Vocal Pedagogy from Westminster Choir College at the end of this year. Along with her extensive teaching experiences, Mrs. Mallou has had numerous performance opportunities throughout her career, including Alto soloist for Handel’s Messiah, Nancy in Oliver!, and Fantine in Les Miserables. Mrs. Mallou’s true passion is in education, focusing on student’s needs and goals. When not
teaching, Mrs. Mallou enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris, and their 6 month old son, Matthew. She also likes to work out, cook, and spend time with friends and family. Aimee is excited to join the incredible team at Wylie East High School!
